Hafif makineli tüfekler, piyade birlikleri için önemli ateş destek silahlarındandır. Teknolojideki hızlı gelişmeler, kaliteyi iyileştirirken, çeşitliliği de arttırmaktadır. Bu çeşitlilik, kullanıcı konumundaki kurum ve kuruluşlar için mevcut seçenek sayısını arttırmakta, aynı zamanda karşılaşılan karar problemini daha karmaşık hale getirmektedir. Bu tip problemlerin çözümünde Çok Kriterli Karar Verme (ÇKKV) yöntemleri kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, en iyi hafif makineli tüfek seçim problemi, ÇKKV yöntemlerinden Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi (AHP) kullanılarak çözülmeye çalışılmıştır. Alınması düşünülen alternatif silahlar ile ilgili kriterler belirlenmiş; gerekli anketler hazırlanıp uygulanmış; Super Decisions 1.6.0 paket programı kullanılarak sonuçlar elde edilmiştir
Light-machine weapons are important fire support weapons for the infantry troops. The rapid development of technology improves quality while increasing diversity. This diversity increases the number of available options for the institutions and organizations in the user position, while also makes the decision-making problem faced more complex. This type of problem is solved using Multi-Critical Decision Making methods. In this study, the problem of the choice of the best light-machine gun was tried to solve using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) from the CCCV methods. The criteria for alternative weapons considered to be obtained have been determined; the necessary surveys have been prepared and implemented; the results have been obtained using the Super Decisions 1.6.0 package program.
