Roman, edebî anlatım gücüyle dil, kültür ve gelenek gibi insana dair her şeyi en iyi şekilde yansıtan bir aynadır. Bu anlamda bireylerin ve toplumların karakterleri, kültürleri ve düşünceleri onunla en güzel şekilde yansıtılabilmektedir. Romanın söz konusu öneminin farkında olan edebiyatçılar, yaşadıkları toplumun tarihi, toplumsal gerçekleri, serüvenleri ve aşkları gibi her hangi bir yönünü anlatmak istediklerinde roman aynasını ilgili yöne çevirmişlerdir. 1960’lı yıllara gelindiğinde Arap edebiyatçılar; siyasi ve sosyal çeşitli bunalımlar yaşayan Arap toplumunu huzurlu bir atmosfere yönlendirmek adına söz konusu aynayı bu sefer insana huzur veren, umutlarını yeşerten, muhabbetle donatan ve aidiyet duygusunu geliştiren toplumun farklı bir yapısına, tasavvufa çevirmişlerdir. Bu anlamda yeni bir roman türü olarak ortaya çıkan tasavvufî roman, tasavvufun manevi hallerine, toplumsal yansımalarına ve bireydeki tezahürlerine değinmiştir. Konu ve üslûp bağlamında Kur’ân’î bir anlayışı esas alan tasavvufî roman, Müslümanın mazisiyle yaşadığı kültürel zihin kopukluğunu reddederek tarihiyle yeniden güçlü bağlar tesis etmesini istemiştir. Bu manada özellikle sûfî ve Müslüman felsefecilerin tarihî birikimlerinden yararlanmış ve Müslümanların kültürel, fikrî ve ‘irfânî tarihî miraslarını edebî anlamda canlandırmaya çalışmıştır. Abstract The novel is a mirror that reflects everything about human beings like language, culture and tradition in the best way. In this sense, the characters, cultures and thoughts of individuals and societies can be reflected in the best way. Being aware of the importance of the novel, the writers turned the novel mirror into the related direction when they wanted to explain any aspect of the society, such as their history, social realities, adventures and love. In the 1960s, Arab literary figures; In order to direct the Arab society living in a variety of political and social crises to a peaceful atmosphere, they turned this mirror into a different structure -meanly Sufism-, which gave people peace, hope, nurture, and develop a sense of belonging. In this sense, the Sufi novel, which emerged as a new type of novel, touched on the spiritual states, social reflections and manifestations of Sufism. The Sufistic novel, which is based on a Quranic understanding in the context of the subject and style, has asked the Muslim to establish strong ties with his history by rejecting the cultural mind break with his past. In this sense, he has benefited from the historical accumulations of Islamic Sufis and philosophers and tried to revive the cultural, intellectual and sufi Islamic historical legacies of the Muslims.
