Abstract:

The Republic of North Macedonia, XIV. At the end of the century, it entered the Ottoman state. However, it is about the establishment of the Ottoman monetary system and the beginning of a five-century long trade process. The Ottoman cycles found as a result of research in the region also prove the existence of an uninterrupted commercial relationship between the Balkans and the Anatolian region. The purpose of this work is to introduce the works of the Ottoman Sick collection exhibited in the Museum. The museum contains a total of 139 museums. The cycles were found on the river Bregalnitsa in the east of the Republic of North Macedonia as a result of the museum’s archaeological research. In the framework of the study, the samples of gold, silver, copper and nickel silk displayed in the collection were addressed. The XVI. and XIX. An example of these cycles that date between the centuries is presented in the catalogue section. Examples are classified according to the chronological order of the Ottoman princes.
