İnternetin çocuklar tarafından kontrolsüzce/bilinçsiz kullanılması bir çok problemi beraberinde getirmektedir. Bunlardan birisi de çevrimiçi çocuk cinsel istismarı ve grooming’dir. Fiziki çevrede gerçekleşen çocuk cinsel istismarı sosyal hizmetin önemli çalışma alanlarından birisini oluşturmakta olup, ülkemizde bu konu hakkında oldukça fazla araştırma yapılmaktadır. Ancak yine ülkemizde çevrimiçi çocuk cinsel istismarı ve grooming ile ilgili çalışmalar çok sınırlı olup, henüz sosyal hizmet disiplininde bu alanda yapılmış herhangi bir araştırmaya literatür taramasında rastlanmamıştır. Bu çalışmada sosyal hizmet uzmanları açısından “çevrimiçi çocuk cinsel istismarı” ve “grooming” konularına örnek olgu sunumu üzerinden dikkat çekerek farkındalık yaratmak ve sosyal hizmet mesleğinin alana dair önemini vurgulamak amaçlanmaktadır.
The uncontrolled/unconscious use of the Internet by children brings many problems with it. One of them is online child sexual abuse and grooming. Sexual abuse of children in the physical environment is one of the important areas of work of social service, and a lot of research is done on this subject in our country. But again in our country the studies on online child sexual abuse and grooming are very limited, and no research in this field in the social service discipline has yet been found in the literary scan. This study aims to create awareness and emphasize the importance of social service profession in the field by attracting attention to the "online child sexual abuse" and "grooming" subjects through the example of the presentation of the facts.
