Abstract:

Modern Osmanlı tarih yazıcılığında "Osmanlı Devleti'nin Kuruluşu" konusu, ana sorulardan biri olmuştur. Selçuklu-Bizans sınırındaki küçük bir sınır bölgesinin, modern çağların büyük imparatorluklarından, biri haline nasıl dönüştüğü, tarihçileri hala şaşırtmaktadır. ıslamiyet ve Bizans kültür mirasının varisi olan bu devlet, nasıl Orta Asya ,:e Balkanların uzun süreli bir imparatorluğu oldu?
