13. yüzyıldan itibaren Osmanlı Devleti’nin son dönemlerine kadar Anadolu ve Balkanlar’da bir meslek örgütü olarak faaliyet gösteren Ahilik teşkilatı, mensuplarının mesleğinde iyi bir usta/sanatkâr olmasıyla birlikte ticaret ahlakı kazanmasını da hedeflemiştir. Bu yönüyle eğitim kurumu olarak değerlendirilebilecek olan Ahilik teşkilatı, eğitimlerindeki uygulamalarıyla başarılı çalışmalar ortaya koymuştur. İslam dininin ticari hayat için öngördüğü ilkeler doğrultusunda faaliyetlerini sürdüren bu teşkilat, uyguladığı eğitim politikalarıyla bulunduğu bölgelerin sosyoekonomik hayatına katkı veren kültürel bir yapı oluşturmuştur. Ahilik teşkilatında verilen eğitimlerle üyelerin cömertlik, yiğitlik, yumuşak huyluluk, iffet, sabır, dürüstlük, şükür, tevazu, adalet gibi birçok ahlaki ilkeyi kazanması hedeflenmiştir. İş başında verilen eğitimle iş dışında verilen eğitimin birlikte yürütüldüğü bu eğitimler hayat boyu devam eden bir faaliyet olarak görülmüştür. Bu makalede ahlaki değerleri ticaretin merkezine koyarak yüzlerce yıl boyunca iyi insan-usta-sanatkâr yetiştirmeyi başarmış olan Ahilik kurumunun oluşturduğu Ahilik kültürünü tanıtmak ve Ahilik kurumunun ticari hayata kattığı ahlaki değerlerin günümüz ticari hayatına eğitsel bir model olarak sunulmasına katkı sağlamak amaçlanmıştır. Bu noktada başta Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı ve Esnaf ve Sanatkârlar Odaları Birliği olmak üzere eğitim ve ticaretle ilgisi olan resmi ve sivil kurumlara önemli görevler düşmektedir. Çünkü Ahilik kurumunun asırlarca başarıyla uyguladığı eğitim politikaları günümüz mesleki eğitimin kalitesinin artırılmasına ve ticaret hayatında yaşanan bazı sorunların çözümüne katkıda bulunabilecek yeterliliktedir.
From the 13th century to the last periods of the Ottoman State, the Ahilik organization, which operates as a professional organization in Anatolia and the Balkans, has also aimed at gaining trade ethics with its members being a good master/artist in the profession. In this regard, the Ahilik organization, which can be assessed as an educational institution, has shown successful work with its practices in its training. This organization, which continues its activities in accordance with the principles that the Islamic religion provides for commercial life, has created a cultural structure that contributes to the socio-economic life of the regions where it is implemented by its educational policies. Through the training provided in the association, the objective of the members is to gain many moral principles such as courage, courage, softness, affection, patience, honesty, gratefulness, compassion, justice. The training provided at work with the training provided outside the work was seen as a lifelong activity. The aim of this article is to promote the Ahiilik culture created by the Ahiilik institution, which has been able to educate good people-artists for hundreds of years by placing moral values in the center of trade and to contribute to the introduction of the moral values that the Ahiilik institution contributes to the commercial life as an educational model for today’s commercial life. At this point, mainly the Ministry of National Education and the Association of Commercial and Artists Rooms are important tasks to the official and civil institutions that are related to education and trade. Because the educational policies the institution has successfully implemented for centuries are sufficient to contribute to the improvement of the quality of today’s vocational education and to the solution of some problems in the business life.
The Akhism organization, which has been operating as a professional organization in Anatolia and the Balkans from the 13th century until the last periods of the Ottoman Empire, aimed that its members gain commercial ethics as well as being good masters in their profession. The Akhism organization, which can be considered as an educational institution in this respect, has demonstrated successful studies with the practices it has carried out in its education. This organization, which continues its education in line with the principles envisaged by the religion of Islam for commercial life, has created a cultural structure that contributes to the socio-economic life of the regions it is in with the education policies it implements. It is expected that the members will acquire many moral principles such as generosity, bravery, gentleness, chastity, patience, honesty, humility, and justice through the trainings given in the Akhism organization. These trainings, in which on-the-job training and off-the-job training are carried out together, are seen as a lifelong activity. In this article, it is aimed to introduce the Akhism culture formed by the Akhism organization, which has managed to train good people-masters for centuries by putting moral values at the center of trade, and to contribute to presenting the moral values that the Akhism organization has added to commercial life as an educational model for today's commercial life. At this point, official and civil institutions that are related to education and trade, especially the Ministry of National Education and the Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, have duties. Because the education policies that the Akhism Order culture organization has successfully implemented for hundreds of years are sufficient to contribute to increasing the quality of today's vocational education and solving the problems experienced in business life.
