Farklı operatörler tarafından ticarî olarak ulusal ve uluslararası transit taşımacılık, lojistik ve dağıtımla ilgili tüm faaliyetlerin gerçekleştirildiği bölgelere lojistik merkez adı verilmektedir. Lojistik faaliyetlerin yapılması için özel olarak kurulmuş yerlerdir. Bu çalışmada, Kahramanmaraş’ın lojistik merkez olabilmesi adına mevcut pozisyonunu, en yaygın durum analizi olan SWOT analizi (güçlü ve zayıf yönleri ile fırsat ve tehditlerinin değerlendirilmesi süreci) üzerinden incelenmiştir. Yapılan değerlendirme sonucunda, Kahramanmaraş ilinin lojistik merkez olabilme açısından önemli güçlü yönlere ve fırsatlara sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda Kahramanmaraş’ın lojistik merkez olabilmesi için fiziksel ve kurumsal alanda eksikliklerin giderilmesi gerektiği vurgulanmıştır. Mevcut olan potansiyelin harekete geçirilmesine yönelik tavsiyelerde bulunulmuştur.
The areas where all activities related to national and international transit transportation, logistics and distribution are carried out by different operators are named logistics centers. It is specifically designed for logistics activities. In this study, the current position of Kahramanmaraş in the name of being a logistics center was studied through the SWOT analysis, which is a common state analysis (the process of evaluation of strengths and weaknesses and opportunities and threats). As a result of the assessment, it has been found that the Kahramanmaraş province has significant strengths and opportunities in terms of being a logistics center. The result of the study was emphasized that the physical and corporate deficiencies should be removed in order to be the logistics center of Kahramanmaraş. There are recommendations for the potential to be implemented.
Logistic centers have been known as the regions where all the activities related to national and international transit transportation, logistics and distribution are carried out by different operators. These places are specifically established for logistics activities. In this study, KahramanmaraĢ has examined in order to be a logistics center through SWOT analysis (the process of evaluating its strengths and weaknesses with its opportunities and threats). As a result of the evaluation, it has been determined that KahramanmaraĢ has important strengths and opportunities in terms of being a logistics center. In addition these, it is highlighted that the physical and institutional deficiencies should be eliminated in order to be the logistics center of KahramanmaraĢ. Also, to mobilize the existing potential some recommendations have been made.
