Objective This study was conducted to examine the attitudes of pediatric nurses about computer use in health care. MaterialMethod: Before starting to the study, permissions were taken from ethics committee and the institution. The study was conducted with a total of 70 nurses who were voluntarily participating in the research at two separate campuses including Pediatric Clinic of a Training and Research Hospital in Sakarya,in April 2018. In the study, the questionnaire prepared by the researchers questioning the sociodemographic information of the participants and "Attitude Scale Towards Computer Usage in Health Care" which was tested by Kaya and Aştı in 2008 for reliability and validity were used. The data were evaluated in the SPSS 22 software. Results: It was determined that the 88,6% of the participants were female (n:62),the mean age of participants was 33,17±8,15, 60% of the participants had graduate and 10% had post-graduate from university. It was found that the average duration of work of pediatric nurses was 11,85±9, 77% of nurses had no computer certifi cate (n:54), 51.4% were using computer regularly every day (n:36), 45,7% were using computer in patient and hospital services (ex: drug demand) (n:32). In the study, it was observed that the total score obtained from the scale was 16,7 ± 7,63. Conclusion: It was observed that nurses participating in the research were confi dent about the ability to use various computer programs, they were believed in the benefi t of the computer in social development, and they had an avid perception about the use of computer.
