Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of science education combined with the EBA on student academic achievements and attitudes. The study used a semi-experimental pattern with a pre-test-final test control group. The study group consists of 756 class students. The research data was collected using the Science Course Success Test (KR-20=0.80) and the Science Course Attitude Scale (Cronbach Alpha = 0.87) developed by researchers. While a mixed learning application designed using the EBA content in the experimental group is carried out, a traditional teaching application is carried out in the control group. The arithmetic average and standard deviation for the collected data were calculated and the data were analyzed by the t test. The research has achieved the following findings: Before experimental application, the attitudes of students in both the experimental and control group towards the science knowledge course are quite high and the Science Science course, combined with the EBA content, contributes to the academic achievements and attitudes of students towards the science knowledge course.
