Abstract:

The piano is an instrument discovered in the 18th century and is used worldwide. The educational repertoire is very common in the same way. There have been various scenes in different countries about playing the piano. The arrival of the today stolen piano to the Turkish territory was in the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century. In the palace, from the princes, the towns, the sultan, took lessons from the teachers brought from Europe. After that, the educated families of the country began to take care of their children’s piano lessons. At the end of the century, the number of piano coaches has increased significantly. The Republic's establishment opened the conservatory and Muallim Mektebi with the piano training. At this time, we’ve got the number 100 in our school for piano. These schools are Conservatories, High Schools of Fine Arts, Schools of Music/Departments. The training of the piano, as it was yesterday, is a lot more interesting today.
