Abstract:

The scope of this paper is to create an interactive graphical user interface in MATLAB to study Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and their performances. This application can be used especially for educational purposes in Artificial Neural Networks teaching laboratory. Matlab’s 2011 Artificial Neural Networks Toolbox was used. Most popular and known neural networks were studied. The application offers the possibility to modify the neural networks parameters by using Matlab UIControls like sliders, radio Buttons and so on. Using this application can help to understand the Artificial Neural Networks and make their applications more efficient and easier both for students and teachers.
