Abstract:

This study was carried out with the aim of measuring the level of awareness of COVID-19 of university students who began education and teaching at Yozgat Bozok University, which received the certificate of 'Healthy and Safe Campus' by taking the necessary measures regarding the methods of infection and protection. The study included 369 university students who were volunteer to participate in the study without going to the sample selection and were available in translation between 13.11.2020-30.12.2021. The data is collected using the indicative information form and the COVID-19 Awareness Scale (COVFÖ). In the evaluation of data, identifiable statistics, t test in independent groups, one-way variance analysis have been used. Students were found to receive 90.04±11.11 from the COVFÖ, 53.73±5.47 from the hygiene sub-dimensional score, 23.64±5.10 from the distance from the sub-dimensional score, 12.71±2.87 from the mask sub-dimensional score. It has also been determined that the scores received from COVFÖ by students who are firmly involved in the protection of inactive (96.40±9.12) and mRNA (94.82±9.94) vaccines are higher than the other groups and that this difference is statistically meaningful (p<0.001).
