Abstract:

As a natural result of the information systems and the digitalization movement, today’s world is experiencing the fourth process of social transformation. This transformation process is developing in such a way that will force the implementation of radical changes in industrial life. There are four basic components of the production vision of the future. These are developing in such a way that they will be “product”, “city”, “communication”, “information network”. To mobilize these 4 core components, cyber-physical systems, sensors, object internet, inter-machine communication (M2M), intelligent information networks and secure cloud computing environments are being widely developed. This progress naturally affects all processes such as product design, process design, quality management, marketing, and process transformation occurs with a comprehensive process innovation.     As it affects all processes of, this change and conversion requires the restructuring of supply processes. In particular, 4 party, 5 party and 6 party logistics services will develop business models that will lead to the widespread use.   This article discusses the impact of opportunities and innovations created by the Fourth Industrial Revolution on the logistics management. In particular, innovative solutions on logistics management have attracted attention to the impact of IT solutions on the industry and have been attempted to draw the limits of the fourth transformation in the logistics sector.
