Abstract:

Purpose: The clinical practice of nursing students is aimed at determining the cases of exposure to injuries with cutting and decay instruments and the measures they take in these cases.The purpose and method: Nursing students who have studied the university of cutting and identifying type of study N=589 and their sample formed 339 students who accepted to participate in the research and without lack of data in their forms. In the study, as a data collection tool; the individual advertising form and the question form containing the characteristics related to injury with cut-tracking tools were used. The data was evaluated using numbers, average, standard deviation, percentage and ki-quare tests.Discussions: The average age of students participating in the study is 22,51±1,56. 31% of the students were injured by cutting and decay instruments, the majority of the injuries occurred in the clinics and 38.8% were injured in the injector injector injector injector injector injector injector injector injector injector. During the injuries, 29.3 percent of students did not use protective measures, 68.6 percent did not report the injuries, 86.4 percent did not vaccinate hepatitis B, and 44 percent of vaccinators did not do after-vaccination assessment.The result: Student nurses are at risk of cutting and decay instruments during clinical application and their information about protective measures should be repeated at certain intervals, their skills and skills to be improved.
