Fotoğraflar geçmişte yaşanan an’lar ve olaylarla ilgili bilgilerin zaman içinde ele geçirilen taşıyıcıları olmuştur.
From a historical perspective, the relationship between photo and memory has been thoroughly studied, questioned and discussed from the past to the present day. Photos have been the carriers of information about the moments and events in the past captured over time. As Roland Barthes pointed out, “the things that are there” reflect the reality as a clear proof, sends it to the moment, represents the moment and serves as a reminder and reminder of what has happened to the past. This study aims to explore and evaluate the reflection of events in history into photographic works by artists such as Sergey Larenkov, Joe Hedwig Teeuwisse, Shawn Clover, Nick Sullivan and Seth Taras through the works they produce in the context of photography. Photos are important for this work because they directly show the events that happen to the audience in the context of the proximity to reality. This is a quality research based on the visual model in terms of the content of the study. Photographs in the work scope that put the past and the present in a double layer on a single surface require a look at the reality of the past from the present perspective.
