Abstract:

When people who were civilized in nature came together and formed societies, they also needed a certain order in order to live happily. Because just living together is not enough for civilization and a happy life. That's why people have determined the limits, conditions and principles of the order necessary for civilization and a happy life. They took certain virtues as a basis to ensure the happiness and unity of the individual and society. When every individual of the society lives according to these virtues, order will be maintained and civilization will be established. The concepts of politics and morality have great importance and influence in ensuring this development. Throughout the historical process, the issues of politics and morality are among the most discussed and talked about issues, but no specific conclusion can be reached. Issues related to moral and political philosophy are also among the main discussion topics of Islamic philosophers. It is likely that these concepts will continue to be discussed and remain up-to-date, as they have been until today. In this study, their views on political ethics will be evaluated based on Kınalızade Ali's Ahlak-ı Alai and Nasıruddin Tusi's Ahlak-ı Nasiri, who made significant contributions to the field of political ethics with the works they wrote during their period.
