Abstract:

With technological innovations and changes in our lives, we need to acquire new skills in accordance with the age of information technology. In the age of information technology, people are trying to develop the levels of "literacy" to be able to adapt to the current situation and to follow the new developments. By closely monitoring digital technology, the use of these innovations in the training and teaching process will improve the quality of education. The teachers of the future will contribute to the use of digital literature in their educational teaching by training themselves in accordance with the age of information technology. Therefore, it is also important to identify the levels of digital literature skills of teachers candidates who will train the new generations. The aim of this study is to study the levels of digital literature skills of future social information teachers depending on different variables. In the spring period of the 2021-2022 academic year, 223 social information found in different class levels at the University of Kırşehir Ahi Evran forms the sample group of our teacher candidate study. Our example group has shown that the level of digital literature skills of future teachers is significantly different from the point of view of men when assessed by gender variable, and that the level of digital literature skills of teachers candidates who will be graduated according to the class level is higher. There has been no significant differences in analysis based on age, family income, personal computer, social networking and time spent on the internet.
