Abstract: The purpose of this study, preschool teachers' perceptions of professional competence to determine. Method was used to study the phenomenology. Research was conducted in the method of purposive sampling. In this context, the study group in the 2014-2015 academic year, depending on the district of İstanbul Başakşehir voluntary pre-school teachers working in kindergartens has created. Pre-school teachers working in the schools, 15 were applied to the scope of the research interview. Teachers who participate in the interview in the framework of research ethics Ö1, Ö2, Ö3, Ö4, Ö5, ......., are coded with the code Ö15. 8-10 years of seniority of five teachers, four of six were between 13-15 years of seniority if the teacher's seniority is between 16-18 years. Professional aspects of professional competence by teachers from preschool sufficient theoretical knowledge and practical skills have reached the conclusion that meaning.
