Bu çalışmanın amacı, okulöncesi kaynaştırma eğitimi alan down sendromlu bir çocuğun serbest zaman oyun davranışlarının incelenmesidir. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden örnek olay incelemesi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada veri toplamak amacıyla kaynaştırma eğitimi alan çocuğun haftada iki defa olmak üzere ve her video kaydı 15-20 dakikadan oluşacak şekilde 5 hafta boyunca oyun davranışları gözlenmiş ve toplam 10 video kaydı oluşturulmuştur. Toplanan veriler oluşturulan forma işlenerek içerik analiziyle analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda kaynaştırma öğrencisinin çoğunlukla yapı-inşa oyunlarını tercih ettiği, oyunlarının çoğunda herhangi bir amaç olmaksızın ve diğerleriyle iletişim kurma ihtiyacı gütmeden oyunlarını sürdürdüğü ortaya konmuştur. Oyunlarının çoğunda yapı-inşa oyuncaklarıyla oynamayı tercih ettiği, yine oyunlarının büyük bir çoğunluğunda herhangi bir arkadaş tercihinde bulunmadığı, oyun oynama süresinin çoğunlukla 4-7 dakika arasında olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları ilgili alan yazınla ilişkili bir biçimde tartışılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to study the play behaviors of a child with down syndrome who receives pre-school coaching education. In this study, examples of research methods have been used. The study observed the behavior of the child for the purpose of gathering data, twice a week, and every video recording consisted of 15-20 minutes for 5 weeks, and a total of 10 video recordings were created. The data collected is processed by the form created and analyzed by content analysis. The study finds that the coaching student mostly prefers building-building games, most of their games continue their games without any purpose and without the need to communicate with others. In most of their games they prefer to play with building-building toys, and in most of their games they don’t prefer any friend, the game’s time is usually between 4-7 minutes. The results of the research are discussed in a way related to the field.
The purpose of this study was to examine the free-time play behaviours of a child with down syndrome who was educated inclusively in a kindergartenschool. This qualitative study was designed as a case study. The data of the study was gathered by observing a child with down syndrome who was educated inclusively in a kindergartenschool for five weeks and by conducting two observation seach week, totally 10. Each observation was video recorded and each record lasted for about 15-20 minutes. The data of the study was analysed though content analysis. Results of the study revealed that the children observed mostly preferred yapı-inşa play, and in most of her plays he played with no purpose and without a need for communication with others. Results demonstrated that she mostly preferred to play with yapı-inşa toys and that did not prefer to play with a friend and that the duration of her plays were about 4-7 minutes and that she showed social participation in all of her play but did not show any leadership behaviours or did not try to Express herself. The results of the study were discussed in line with the related literature.
