Abstract:

In this article, starting from the political formations that the Mongols formed after their withdrawal from China, they studied the activities of the Mongolian tribes called the Cungar for about a century, first after Oyrat, in the north, south and east regions of the God Mountains. In the Introduction section of the article, the terms of Oyrat, Halha and Ovor Mongol were briefly explained and discussed the origins of the Oyrat, the roles they played during the period of the Cengiz Han and the Mongol Empire, the areas in which they lived, the names in the Mongol and Chinese sources. Then, in the process after the death of Cengiz Han, the status and political positions of the Oyrates were assessed; the struggles in the Oyrat-Halha-Ming triangle after the Yuan Empire was destroyed, especially the struggles in which the Oyrat Han Esen Taişi entered with the Halhalar and the Ming dynasty. In the first part of the article, the Oyrates discussed the first contacts with the Altay and God Mountains regions, the struggles they entered with the Eastern Chaghatai Dynasty and the migrations to the West. 2nd In the section, the activities of the Oyrat migrations in the Turfan and Kumul regions, which are the northern borders of the Yarkent Dynasty, the strings against the Yarkent Dynasty and the efforts to interfere with the throne struggles, the complexity in which the Yarkent Dynasty falls, the struggles to capture the state of two separate religious groups known as the Akdağlı (Afakiye) and the Black (Ishakiye). In the section, from the early periods in which the Cungar Hanlığı was founded, with the weakening of the Yarkent Hanlığı, the Cungars crossed the south of the God Mountains and discussed the flows and wars they did to the settlements in the south and east borders of the Yarkent Hanlığı; finally, the Afak Hoca, who refused to Galdan Taişi, invited the Cungar army to the Yarkent Hanlığı and the process of eradication of the Hanlığı was described.
