Intussusception is a rare clinical picture among adults, characterized with invagination of proximal segment of intestine into distal segment. Often there is an underlying triggering lesion, and inflammatory fibroid polyp is one of these. Intussusception shows itself with clinical symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and abdominal distension. Diagnosis can be difficult sometimes, because of unspecific clinical symptoms. Tomography is the best imaging method. We present a 67 years old female patient with intussusception triggered by a inflammatory fibroid polyp.
