Abstract:

Today, due to the rapidly developing technological changes, the scope of the teaching technology concept is also changing. In this context, the skills and the use of teaching technologies of teachers who take the guidance role in the learning process are also different. The aim of this study is to evaluate the teachers' opinions in terms of the teaching technologies they use in the learning process. The research was conducted in a model. It carries the research character. The study’s work group consists of 40 teachers who participate voluntarily in this study, working by actively entering classes in different Anadolu high schools in the province of İzmir. The interview form was used as a data collection tool organized by the researcher. The data is obtained using semi-configured conversation technique. The teachers evaluate how, how often, and for what purposes they use teaching technologies in the four fields, including the course preparation, the course process, the post-class studies, the exam preparation. According to the results, teachers with less than 5 years of vocational experience have been using smart sheets (98%) and memory (82.5%) and e-books (75%). The teachers who have been in the profession for more than 5 years have found that the use of books and written materials (85%) is in the first place.
