Abstract:

In light of scientific and technological developments, the perspective of nature and body has also changed. Cloning, root cell treatment, genetic version, genetic, robotic studies on the transmission of the mind provide a designed body and nature; the boundaries of the natural and the artificial are uncertain. The transhumanist approach, which has a view beyond humanism, moves through the transformation of the human body through science and technology. The development of human intelligence, the removal of physical boundaries, the removal of diseases, and the thought of naturally immortality, becomes reality through research in science and technology. The fact that this view of the body is the subject of research of different disciplines makes transhumanist movements more difficult to undertake under one title. While the research is continuing in line with this approach of genetics, nano, and robotics science, scientific and technological research and applications are also the subject of artists, the research is carried out where technology and art are combined. Protheses added to the body, robotic busts in interactive art studies, DNA studies, mutant figures, abnormal bodies appear to us as reflections of age in some studies, and in some as expressions of critical approach. In this study, the elimination of physical boundaries and approaches to the mind-body relationship will be discussed in terms of robotic applications and artwork studies.
