The aim of this study is to identify the reactions of married individuals to the situations in which they are injured and broken in their marriage relationships. The study compared the reactions of married individuals to the injury in terms of the way they married, the level of education, the time of marriage and the number of children. The study was conducted with a total of 288 participants, including 141 women and 147 men. The study used the Fincham, Beach and Davile’s gift donation-event scale (Forgiveness Scale-event) scale to determine the responses of couples to the injured situations. The data is analyzed by Ki-Care method. The findings show that when they experience injury, women are more away from their spouses than men. When the woman is injured, she leaves her wife, doesn’t want to do anything with her husband and treats her husband cold. Men, unlike women, feel closer to their spouse in a shorter time, give their spouse, and can return to their predecessor without any incident. When taking into account the form of marriage, those who are married by flirting have a more constructive tendency than couples who are married in a visual way. The increased level of learning leads to solving the injuries experienced in marriage and less avoidance. As the level of learning decreases, the avoidance tends to increase. From the point of view of the number of children, those without children and having a single child are more constructive and forgiving than the couples who have four or more children.
