Abstract:

One of the important elements that the Western states used to dissolve the Ottoman state and to implement their plans to weaken and break the Ottoman state was the missionaries. One of the target masses of the missionaries was the Armenians who lived intensely in the eastern Anadolu region. The Armenian committees established by European states and their missionaries have engaged in devastating actions in the eastern and southeastern regions. The most effective of these actions were the rebellions that began simultaneously in many places in 1895. During these rebels many Muslims were killed and some were forced to migrate by leaving their homes. While the Armenian committees executed all these massacres, the missionaries tried to show themselves innocent in the internal and external public, and the Muslims as Armenian genocides. The Ottoman state has tried to take some measures against the rebels in the framework of its possibilities. During the events, the victims’ sacrifices were treated to be removed with devotion, to re-establish social peace and peace. However, the removal of the commissary terrorists, which have turned their eyes to the imperialist targets of the European states, has not been possible.
