Feminizm en temel anlamıyla kadınların toplumsal ve siyasal düzlemde erkeklerle aynı haklara sahip olmasını savunan bir harekettir. Geçmişten günümüze feminizmi dört dalga üzerinden değerlendirmek mümkündür. Her bir dalga bir önceki dalganın içerdiklerini kapsamakla beraber o dönemki toplumun yapısına uygun yeni söylemlerle gelişmiştir. Birinci dalga feminizmin siyasal anlamda, ikinci dalga feminizmin ise çalışma ve toplumsal yapıda eşitlik arayışı içinde olduğu söylenebilmektedir. Üçüncü dalga feminizm ırk, kültür, sınıf, din, renk, etnik köken bazında farklı kadınlarında farklı sorunları olduğu üzerine eğilmektedir. Son olarak dördüncü dalga feminizm, daha çok internetin yaygınlaşmasıyla gün yüzüne çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı feminizmin geçirdiği dalgalara kısaca değinerek günümüz içerisinde ideolojisi belirlenen ve belirlenmeye devam eden dördüncü dalga feminizmin internet üzerindeki gelişimini ortaya koymaktır. Sonuç olarak, dördüncü dalga feminizmin internet üzerinden gelişiminin sosyal ağlar üzerinden devam ederek gelişeceği söylenebilmektedir.
Feminism is a movement that mainly defends that women have the same rights as men on the social and political level. From the past to the present, feminism can be assessed by four waves. Each wave has evolved with new words in accordance with the structure of the previous wave. The first wave of feminism in the political sense and the second wave of feminism in the search for equality in the work and social structure. The third wave of feminism tends to have different problems in different women on the basis of race, culture, class, religion, color, ethnic origin. Finally, the fourth wave of feminism is faced with the increased spread of the internet. The aim of this study is to reveal the development of the fourth wave of feminism on the Internet, which is defined and continued to be determined by the ideology of feminism today. As a result, it can be said that the fourth wave of feminism will continue to develop through the social networks.
