Abstract:

Purpose: This study was conducted with the aim of determining the perceptions of nursing graduate students about the forms of communication of teachers and the influence of the forms of communication of teachers on the student's department satisfaction. Method: The universe of this study of a characteristic quality has formed 379 bachelor students who are trained in the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Health Sciences of a university. The examples are not selected, they are studied on the universe. (The participation rate is 79.9 per cent). Participants are subjected to the Personal Information Form and the Communication Forms of Teachers. Personal information form includes questions about gender, age, section satisfaction and why you choose the section. In the evaluation of the data, the percentage, independent variables, T-test, variance analysis (ANOVA) were used. Results: According to the statistics, the average age of students is 20.42±0.9 and 79.2% are women. The average score that their teachers receive from the scale of communication forms is 80,86±0,84. The scale of communication forms of teachers has been determined to have a meaningful relationship between the total score average of the scale and the satisfaction levels of students from the department (July0,05). Result: According to these findings, it is believed that students are satisfied with the forms of communication of teachers and that teachers think they have established an effective communication, as well as the influence of the forms of communication of teachers on the satisfaction of the department of students.
