Abstract:

Work stress and exhaust are the situations that many people have experienced in the workplace today. These two concepts that negatively influenced employees have been the subject of many research. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between work stress and exhaust in employees. The research was conducted on employees working in banks in the province of Konya. In the framework of the study, 379 employees working in the banks operating in the province of Konya were surveyed by statistical analysis. In data analysis, factor analysis, correlation and regression analysis were used. The results of the analysis show that the work stress levels of employees have increased. The levels of emotional extinction of the bank employees are very high, the levels of sensitivity are high, and the low levels of personal success feelings are normally determined. It is also established that there is a meaningful relationship between work stress and the subdimensions of exhaust. Emotional exhaustion, insensitivity and a low sense of personal success are associated with work stress. There is also a strong positive meaningful relationship between work stress and overall exhaustion level. The results were presented in various recommendations.
