Şiddet geçmişten günümüze önemli bir toplumsal problem olarak varlığını sürdürmüştür. Şiddete uğrayanlar elbette yalnızca kadınlar değildir. Fakat geçmişten bu yana şiddete en çok maruz kalan şüphesiz kadınlar olmuştur ve bu durum şiddet denildiğinde akla kadının gelmesine neden olmuştur. Şiddet toplumsal bir problemdir ve sebepleri değerlendirildiğinde erkek egemen toplum anlayışının karşımıza çıkması muhtemeldir. Geçmişten bu yana toplum tarafından kadın ve erkeğe yüklenmiş cinsiyet rolleri bulunmaktadır. Şiddet eyleminin sebeplerini açıklamaya yönelik pek çok çalışma bulunmaktadır. Şiddetin sebepleri her kaynakta farklı ele alınsa ortak yönleri fazlalıktadır. İnsanların içinde bulundukları ekonomik durum, hayat şartları, içinde yaşadıkları çevre ve aile yapısı gibi pek çok etken şiddet eyleminin oluşmasında rol oynamaktadır. Toplumda erkeğe dair genel algı evine bakan, otoriteyi ve gücü elinde bulunduran şeklindeyken, kadına dair algı ise erkeğe göre daha az özgür, erkeğinin sözünü dinleyen, en önemli görevi evine ve ailesine bakmak olan bir anlayıştadır. Açıkça görülen bu erkek egemen yapı şiddet olaylarının yaşanma sebeplerinden biridir. Şiddet türü ve sebebi ne olursa olsun şiddete uğrayan kişiyi psikolojik olarak derinden etkileyen bir durumdur. Aile içinde eşinden çocuğundan ya da diğer aile bireylerinden şiddet gören kadın şiddet sonrası travmaya bağlı suçluluk duygusu hissetmektedir. Bazı şiddet mağdurları şiddet gördüklerini çevresi ile paylaşarak çeşitli destekler alsa da hala şiddet gördüğünü saklayan ve hiçbir destek almayan kadınların bulunduğu aşikardır. Çalışmada aile içinde şiddete maruz kalan kadınların travmaya bağlı suçluluk düzeylerinin psikolojik dayanıklılık ile ilişkisini değerlendirmek amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağlamdaşiddetin türleri, şiddetin olası sebepleri, aile içi şiddet, kadına yönelik aile içi şiddet gibi konular irdelenmiştir. Öte yandan aile içinde yaşanan şiddet sonrası kadının hissettiği suçluluk duygusu, psikolojik dayanıklılığı, travmaya bağlı suçluluk duygusu ile başa çıkma yaklaşımları, başa çıkmada psikolojik dayanıklılık ve başa çıkma destek sistemleri üzerinde durulmuştur.
Violence has remained a major social problem from the past to the present day. Those who are violent are not just women. But the women who have been most exposed to violence since the past have undoubtedly been women, and this situation has led to the arrival of the woman of mind when it is said violence. Violence is a social problem, and when the causes are assessed, it is likely that the man-dominated society understanding will come to us. There have been gender roles charged by women and men by society since the past. There are many studies to explain the causes of violence. If the causes of violence are treated differently in each source, the common aspects are excessive. The economic situation in which people are, the living conditions, the environment in which they live and the family structure play a role in the formation of a number of factors of violence. In society, the general perception of a man is in the form of looking at the house, holding authority and power, while the perception of a woman is less free than the man, listening to the word of a man, the most important task is to look at the house and his family. It is clear that this man's dominant structure is one of the causes of violence events. Violence is a situation that depends deeply on the person who is subject to violence regardless of the type and cause. A woman who has been raped by her husband or child or other family members in the family feels a sense of guilt associated with a post-violent trauma. Although some victims of violence receive various supports by sharing their views of violence with their surroundings, it is clear that there are still women who hide their views of violence and don’t have any support. The study aimed at assessing the relationship of trauma-related crime levels of women who are exposed to domestic violence with psychological resistance. Types of this conflict, the possible causes of violence, domestic violence, domestic violence against women, and other issues have been discussed. On the other hand, the post-family violence is focused on the feeling of guilt that the woman feels, psychological resistance, approaches to dealing with the feeling of guilt associated with trauma, psychological resistance in dealing with and support systems to dealing with.
