Abstract:

The aim of this study is to explore the impact of the emotional management of employees in the banking, accounting, financial and insurance sectors on the work-family-life balance. The research was carried out with 193 volunteers who worked in the district of Kırşehir. For the purpose of data collection, the study used the "Business-Family Life Balance Scale" developed by Apaydın (2011) and the "Animal Management Skills Scale" developed by Titrek (2004). The data obtained from the scales are analyzed in the statistical package program. According to the study, the majority of participants are bankers, men, between the ages of 26-30 and are married. The study has identified a positive relationship between the lower dimensions of the work-family-life balance scale and the emotional management. According to the results of the regression analysis, an increase in unity in the participants' emotional management points leads to an increase of .805 in the work-family-life balance. Additionally, emotional management describes 046% of the work-family life balance. According to the results obtained, it is believed that it is an important variable that needs to be focused on emotional management at work. In working with this outcome, it is recommended that organizations put the emotional management into the basic training process in the service-in-training programs.
