Abstract:

Yörgüç Paşa Çelebi Mehmet has been appointed as a gentleman to the Rumeli province, which includes the Amasya, Tokat, Sivas, Çorum and Osmancık regions (826H/1423M) and the son of Çelebi Mehmet II. It is an Ottoman pach that has made a blasphemy to Murat. Many buildings have been built by Yörgüç Pasha in Anadolu. One of these structures is the Yörgüç Pasha Kulliyes, which was built in the name of Yörgüç Pasha in 834H/1430M in Amasya. It is made up of the structures of medrese, hamam, imaret and han which have not been reached to the present day with the mosque and mosque-dependent turbe actively used today. This work aims to promote the structures of Han, Hamam, Imaret and Medrese which have not reached from the Yörgüç Pasha Kulliyesi that Yörgüç Pasha built in Amasya to date. In the framework of the study, the Prime Minister's Ottoman Archive, Tapu Tahrir Books, Foundation General Directorate Archive, Yörgüç Paşa and his family's foundations have been investigated, the structures that cannot be reached from the Amasya Yörgüç Paşa Kulliyesi to today have been compared.
