Abstract:

Many studies have shown that the Turkish woman in the 21st century managed to her economic independence and to raise her educational level. This study examined the social, economic and social positions of women participating in the work life in Turkey. In addition, we have analyzed the disadvantages of women’s employees in the direction of entrepreneurship. The comprehensive dealing with issues such as determination of social relations, economic role, family role, social role, and the legal sphere of women has occurred due to the incentive of research on social gender. This study also explained the concept of social gender, the theories related to gender discrimination against women and discussed the obstacles that women face when entering the work life.
