Bütün dünyada yenilenebilir enerji yatırımları konusunda önemli bir geçiş süreci yaşanmaktadır. Yenilenebilir enerji, azalan maliyetler ve iklim değişikliğiyle mücadeleyi desteklemelerinden dolayı giderek daha önemli duruma gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada, dünya genelinde jeotermal enerjiden elektrik üretimi için yatırım ve üretim maliyetleri değerlendirilmiştir. Dünya genelinde jeotermal enerjiden elektrik üretimi için toplam yatırım maliyetleri 30555209 $US/kW aralığında değişmektedir. Dünyada ortalama yatırım maliyetinin en düşük (3055 $US/kW) olduğu bölge Asya kıtası, en yüksek olduğu (5209 $US/kW) bölge ise Avrupa kıtasıdır Dünya genelinde birim kurulu güç başına ortalama yatırım maliyeti; jeotermal enerjiden elektrik üretiminde 3991,4 $US/kW düzeyindedir. Dünya genelinde jeotermal enerjiden elektrik üretim maliyetleri 0,050,10 $US/kWh aralığında değişmektedir. Dünyada ortalama enerji maliyetinin en düşük (0,05 $US/kWh) olduğu bölge Güney Amerika bölgesi, en yüksek olduğu (0,10 $US/kWh) bölge ise Avrupa ve Orta Amerika kıtasıdır. There is a significant transition in renewable energy investments around the world. Renewable energy is becoming increasingly important due to its reduced costs and support for the fight against climate change. In this study, the investment and production costs for the production of electricity from geothermal energy worldwide were assessed. The total investment costs for the production of electricity from geothermal energy worldwide range from $3055 $5209 US/kW. The region with the lowest average investment cost in the world ($3055/kW) is the Asian continent, the highest (5209$US/kW) is the European continent, the average investment cost per unit installed power in the world; the production of electricity from geothermal energy is at $3991,4/kW. In the world, the cost of electricity production from geothermal energy varies between $0.05 $0.10 USD/kWh. The region with the lowest average energy cost in the world is the South American region and the highest (0,10 USD/kWh) is the continent of Europe and Central America. The average cost of electricity production from geothermal energy worldwide is $074 USD/kWh.
