Abstract:

The mythology of the early centuries has been influenced by many ancient civilizations of the world for centuries. The rumors revealed to keep a person’s dreams, excitement, desires and beliefs under control are the source of mythology. When the mythology is assessed in the context of religious psychology, it appears as a result of the archetype of faith. Those who deal with the psychology of human behavior like Freud and Jung use the mythology in their studies. The world psychology science, religions and literature mythology is a field that is also used in our country. Some literary flows in Turkish literature are based only on mythology in their works. The second poem is one of them. Cemal Süreya, Sezai Karakoç, Edip Cansever, Turgut Uyar, Ece Ayhan Second New Poets are known. These poets, who show out an unusual poem understanding, are not planned to gather together and are called the Second New Poets by some literary circles. They oppose the perception that poetry is part of everyday life and reflect the subconscious elements, humor, surrealism, argoi, sexuality in the poems. The other part of their work is mythology. The mythology is filled with unnecessary character and speeches for them. In particular, the important characters of Greek and Roman mythology reflect in the whole of some poems. Poets use mythology as a tool while reflecting their feelings and thoughts. One of the reasons for the existence of mythology in the Second New Poetry, which is seen as the first literary products of the Republic of Turkey, is the direction to the West. The law, science, technology, and lifestyle of the West are taken as an example, while literature is also largely benefited. The second New Poet's reflection of mythology in his works is derived from their reading of Western mythology.
