Örtmeceler bir dilin söz varlığını zenginleştiren, milletin kültürünü, yaşayışını, inançlarını yansıtan, korku, saygı, utanç, tiksinme gibi psikolojik etmenlerden kaynaklı kullanımları gösteren ifadelerdir. En genel tanımıyla ‘yasaklama’ olarak nitelendirilen tabulardan doğan örtmeceler, söylenmek istenmeyen, söylemekten çekinilen veya korkulan ya da söylenmesi hoş karşılanmayan şeylerin daha kibar, iyileştirilmiş, üstü kapalı bir şekilde dile getirilme biçimleridir. Her dilde ve toplumda var olmaya devam eden bu kelimeler Kazan-Tatar Türkçesinde de varlığını da sürdürerek toplumun kültürünü ve çeşitli meselelere bakış açısını yansıtmaktadır. Kazan-Tatar Türkçesinde bu kelimelerin bir kısmının geleneklere ve inançlara, gebelik ile ilgili inanışlara, hastalıktan, ölümden, tehlikeli olduğu düşünülen hayvanlardan, doğaüstü güçlerden korkma, saygı vb. hislere dayandığı, önemli bir kısmının ise utanç duygusu, terbiyeli olma ve nezaket kaygısı ile ortaya çıktığı görülür. Bu çalışmada Kazan-Tatar Türkçesi söz varlığında bulunan örtmece kelimeler ‘İsimler’, ‘Fiiller’ ve ‘Kalıplaşmış İfadeler’ şeklinde gruplandırılarak değerlendirilecektir. Çalışmaya konu olan kelimeler Kazan-Tatar Türkçesi söz varlığı üzerine hazırlanmış bazı izahlı sözlüklerde ‘örtmece (ěvfěmizm) söz’ olarak kaydedilmiş kelimelerdir. Kazan-Tatar Türkçesinde örtmecelerin hangi amaçlarla ve nerelerde kullanıldığı, değişen yaşam biçimi ve inançlar ile birlikte örtmece sözlerin kullanım alanlarının ne yönde değiştiği izlenmeye çalışılacaktır. Bununla birlikte bu ifadeleri ortaya çıkaran, unutulmaya yüz tutmuş geleneklere, kültürel unsurlara da mümkün olduğu kadarıyla değinilmeye çalışılacaktır.
Expressions are expressions that enrich the word existence of a language, reflect the culture, life, beliefs of a nation, indicate the uses derived from psychological factors such as fear, respect, shame, tickness. Coverings that arise from the tables described as "prohibition" in its most general definition are the ways of more gentle, healed, closely expressing things that are unwanted to be said, feared or feared or not pleasant to be said. These words, which continue to exist in every language and society, continue to exist in Kazan-Tatar Turkish as well as reflect the culture of society and the perspective of various issues. In Kazan-Tatar Turkish, some of these words respect the traditions and beliefs, the beliefs about pregnancy, the disease, death, the animals considered dangerous, the fear of supernatural powers, and so on. It appears that it is based on the feelings, and a significant part of it arises by the feeling of shame, being skilled and kindness. In this study, the cover words in the Kazan-Tatar Turkish word will be assessed by grouping the words in the form of 'Names', 'Files' and 'Kaliplasted Expressions'. The words subject to the study are the words recorded in some explicit dictionaries prepared on the existence of the Kazan-Tatar Turkish word as 'quarter (ěvfěmizm) word'. In Kazan-Tatar Turkish, it will be attempted to monitor what purposes and where the coverage is used, the changing way of life and beliefs, along with the direction in which the use areas of the coverage words are changed. However, we will try to refer to the traditions, the cultural elements, which reveal these expressions, which are faced with forgotten, as far as possible.
