Abstract:

The process of globalization has brought many discussions. One of these discussions is about culture. Culture surrounds our social life as a social fact. The culture can be addressed in terms of universal humanity or the nation-founder. The culture is different from nature. He has a self-reliant reality. Many sources have influenced this reality. This article discusses the ongoing discussions on the impact of the globalization process on culture. Globalization is linked to modernization as a social process. Modernization has created a very strong and strong transformation in Europe centered. Modernization has tended to eradicate and synchronize differences as a social forming project. In this regard, it is necessary to understand the process of globalization and to know the experience of modernization. Globalization is the goal of bringing the world into a global village. One of the claims of globalization is that it has lifted the boundaries between societies and that all societies are similar to each other and there will be no difference between them. That is why it is expected to make the culture a subjective. The question is one of the main issues that this article is questioning. Does globalization bring the world into a uniform and homogeneous cultural environment in an obligation? Will the different nations and civilizations belonging to the different cultures be punished to disappear in this process? Those questions are discussed.
