Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the research trends at the postgraduate level by studying postgraduate theses related to pre-school teachers and pre-school teachers candidates in Turkey. The research included a total of 136 postgraduate theses, including 120 master's and 16 doctoral theses permitted to be published, listed, approved and archived in the National Thesis Database, subject section "pre-school teacher" and limited to the years 2010-2018. In the analysis of the theses, the quality research methods of document examination techniques have been used. Each thesis is classified using the "Tesis Review Form" which is prepared by researchers and contains the titles aimed at the purpose of the study. The data of the research was analyzed using the content analysis technique. In the processing of data, the frequency and percentage distribution were used, the data was shown on shapes and tables. According to the research, the majority of the theses are master's thesis, they do not show a homogeneous distribution according to the years, they are written in Turkish, the work group is pre-school teachers and teachers candidates, they are conducted in the Anatolian Region, Ankara and the Middle East Technical University, they do not receive project support, they are composed of quantitative studies, they are used as a scale as a data collection tool, they are used as a data analysis method ANOVA (one-way variance analysis), teachers' attitudes and values are considered as a subject.
