ÖRGÜTSEL ÖĞRENME BOYUTLARI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİLERİN META ANALİZİ İLE DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract:

Organizasyonlar için örgütsel öğrenme süreci büyük önem arz etmektedir. Bu kapsamda Watkins ve Marsick (2003), örgütsel öğrenme boyutlarını yönetim ve organizasyon literatürüne kazandırmış ve söz konusu örgütsel öğrenme boyutlarının bir organizasyonun örgütsel öğrenme sürecini kaliteli olarak oluşturmak isteniyorsa örgütsel öğrenme boyutlarının birbirlerini tamamlaması gerektiğini ve buna bağlı olarak boyutların birbirleriyle pozitif ilişkileri olması gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir. Bu maksatla çalışmanın literatür kısmında örgütsel öğrenmenin tanımı, özellikleri ve Watkins ve Marsick’in (2003) belirttiği örgütsel öğrenme boyutlarının açıklamaları yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın uygulama kısmında ise, Watkins ve Marsick’in (2003) belirttiği örgütsel öğrenme boyutlarının birbirleri arasındaki ilişkileri inceleyen ulusal ve uluslar arası literatür taranmıştır. Literatür tarama sonucunda Watkins ve Marsick’in (2003) belirttiği örgütsel öğrenme boyutlarının birbirleri arasındaki ilişkileri inceleyen 3 tanesi ulusal, diğer 3 tanesi yabancı yayın olmak üzere toplam 6 yayına erişilmiştir. Tespit edilen bireysel çalışmalara meta analizi uygulanmıştır. Meta analizinde, söz konusu bireysel çalışmalara ait pearson korelasyon katsayılarının ortalamaları ve örneklem sayıları dahil edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda bireysel çalışmalara ait örgütsel öğrenme boyutları arasındaki ilişkilerin ortalamaları ve örneklem sayılarına göre genel etki yüksek ve pozitif yönlü çıkmıştır. Ayrıca Türk araştırmacıların Türkiye’de Türk organizasyonlarına uygulanan çalışmalar, yabancı araştırmaların yabancı ülkelerde yabancı organizasyonlara uygulanan çalışmalara kıyasla genel anlamda genel etkiyi daha fazla artırıcı olarak etkilemişlerdir. Sonuç olarak tüm bireysel çalışmalar ele alındığında, meta analizi sonucu bir organizasyonun çevre içinde uyum göstermesi ve çevre içinde yaşaması için Watkins ve Marsick’in (2003) belirttiği gibi örgütsel öğrenme sürecinin oluşması ve bu örgütsel öğrenme sürecinin sürdürülebilirliği için örgütsel öğrenme boyutlarının birbirlerini tamamlaması gerektiği kanısına varılmıştır.

The process of organizational learning is of great importance for organizations. In this context, Watkins and Marsick (2003) have attributed organizational learning dimensions to the management and organizational literature and stated that if the organizational learning dimensions are intended to create the organizational learning process in a quality, the organizational learning dimensions must complement each other and therefore the dimensions must have positive relationships with each other. For this purpose, the literary section of the study provides definitions, characteristics and descriptions of the organizational learning dimensions indicated by Watkins and Marsick (2003). In the application part of the study, the national and international literature examined the relationships between the organizational learning dimensions stated by Watkins and Marsick (2003). As a result of the literature scan, Watkins and Marsick (2003) studied the relations between the organizational learning dimensions, 3 of which were national, and 3 of which were foreign publications. Meta analysis was applied to the identified individual studies. In the meta analysis, the average and sample numbers of the pearson correlation ratings for the individual studies concerned were included. According to the results of the study, the overall impact has been high and positive according to the average and number of samples of the relationships between the organizational learning dimensions of individual studies. Furthermore, the studies of Turkish researchers on Turkish organizations in Turkey have increased the overall impact of foreign research in foreign countries compared to the studies on foreign organizations in the general sense. As a result, when all individual studies are taken into account, the meta analysis resulted in the conclusion that the formation of the organizational learning process, as Watkins and Marsick (2003) pointed out, for an organization to harmonize and live in the environment, and that the organizational learning dimensions must complement each other for the sustainability of this organizational learning process.

In this context, Watkins and Marsick (2003), the organizational learning dimensions of management and organization literature, and the organizational learning process of an organization's organizational learning process wants to create a quality of organizational learning dimensions should complement each other and stated that there must be positive relations with each other accordingly. For this purpose, the definition, characteristics and organizational learning dimensions of Watkins and Marsick (2003) are explained in the literature. In the application part of the study, the national and international literature examining the relations between the organizational learning dimensions stated by Watkins and Marsick (2003) is searched. As a result of the literature review, Watkins and Marsick (2003) reported that 6 publications, 3 of which are national and 3 of which are foreign publications, have examined the relationship between organizational learning dimensions. Meta analysis was applied to the individual studies. In the meta-analysis, the means and sample numbers of the Pearson correlation coefficients of the individual studies were included. As a result of the research, the overall effect was found to be high and positive in terms of the mean of the relationships between the individual learning organizational dimensions and the number of samples. Turkish researchers also applied to studies of Turkish organizations in Turkey, the foreign research in foreign countries were more affected by the overall effect compared to the overall study applied to foreign organizations. As a result, when all individual studies are considered, it is concluded that, as a result of meta-analysis, in order for an organization to adapt and live within the environment, Watkins and Marsick (2003) stated that the organizational learning process should be formed and the dimensions of organizational learning should be complemented for sustainability of this organizational learning process.
