Abstract:

The Turkish language, which is an added language, has a great importance in terms of realities, meaning and series. This type of additives makes Turkey fluid. Some of these additions have been performing the same function since the ancient Turkish. Some have either lost their original function and assumed a new function, or gained a new function without losing their original function. In Turkish, one of the most commonly used number-file add-ons -dUK add-ons indicates the meaning of past time. This addition, which works in some historical and contemporary languages of Turkish, takes on some functions other than the function of the past-time layer-fiil supplement. In this study, one of the historical periods of Turkish will be focused on the use of the Memluk Kıpçak Turkish field -dUK supplement. Examples will be shown by identifying which functions are used in other than the function of the attachment.

In Turkish, as an agglutinating language, verbals are important in terms of meaning and composition. These kinds of suffixes contribute to Turkish with fluency. Some of the aforesaid suffixes have been fulfilling the same function going back to old Turkish. Some of them have lost their primary function and undertook a new function or they undertook a new function without losing their primary function. One of the commonly used participles of Turkish language -dUK suffix indicates past tense. It is using in both comtemporary and historical dialects of Turkish language commonly. It is using for several connotations in addition to its past participle function. This article focuses on usage of -dUK suffix in the historical dialect of Mamluk Kipchak Turkish. Suffix functions will be determine with examples except its verbal function.
