Bu çalışmada anlamlandırma ve dikkat stratejilerine yönelik iki farklı uygulama yapılarak sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan iki farklı uygulamada aynı konu farklı uygulamalar ile anlatılmıştır. Çalışmanın yürütülmesi için iki farklı deney ve kontrol grupları oluşturulmuştur. Yaşları 8 ile 10 arasında değişen ve piyano dersi alan öğrencilerden oluşan gruplar ile (2 deney, 2 kontrol) ilgili stratejilere yönelik uygulama yapılmıştır. Her iki uygulama için seçilen ortak konu piyanoda nüans işaretleri olarak seçilmiştir. İlk uygulamada farkın kavranması ve öğrenilmesi için nüans işaretleri benzetimlerle anlatılmış, diğer uygulamada işaretlerin doğru zamanda fark edilerek uygulanması için uyarıcı işaretler kullanılmıştır. Yapılan uygulamalarda öğrencilerin performansları puanlanarak başarı durumları gözlenmiş ve elde edilen puanlar ile istatistik işlemler yapılmıştır. İstatistik işlemlerde parametrik ölçümler tercih edilmiş ve gruplar arasında bağımsız örneklem t testi uygulanmıştır. Anlamlandırmaya dayalı uygulamada deney grubu yönünde fark bulunmuş ve deney grubunun daha başarılı olduğu gözlenmiştir. Dikkat stratejisine dayalı ikinci uygulamada ise düşük düzeyli de olsa deney grubu yönünde bir eğilim bulunmuştur.
In this study, the results were evaluated by making two different applications for understanding and attention strategies. In two different practices, the same subject is described by different practices. Two different tests and control groups have been created for the conduct of the study. Groups of students aged 8 to 10 and taking piano lessons (2 experiments, 2 controls) were applied to relevant strategies. The common theme selected for both applications is selected as the nuances of the piano. In the first application, to understand and learn the difference, the nuance signs were described by comparisons, and in the other application, the signs were used to be applied in the right time by noticing the signs. Students have been able to evaluate the performance of the students and to observe the results and statistical processes obtained. Parametric measurements were preferred in statistical processes and independent sampling t tests were applied between groups. In the practice based on understanding, the difference was found in the direction of the experiment group and the experiment group was more successful. In the second application based on the attention strategy, a trend was found in the direction of the experiment group, though low level.
In this study, two different applications were made for elaboration and attention strategies and the results were evaluated. The same subject is explained with different applications in two different applications. Two different experimental and control groups were formed for conducting the study. Applications were made for the strategies with groups (2 experimental, 2 control) whose ages are between 8 and 10 and taking piano lesson. The common topic chosen for both applications was chosen as nuance signs on the piano. In the first application, the nuance signs were explained with simulations in order to understand and learn the difference. In the other application, the warning signs were used to detect and apply the signs at the right time. In the applications, the performances of the students were scored and their success was observed and the scores and statistical procedures were made. Parametric measurements were preferred for the statistical process and independent sample t test was applied between the groups. In elaboration process significant differences were found in the experimental group and the experimental group was found to be more successful. In the second application based on the attention strategy, it is observed that there are significant differences for the experimental group albeit at a low level.
