Türkiye bugün hem göç veren hem göç alan hem de Avrupa ülkelerine ulaş-maya çalışanların transit olarak kullandığı bir ülke konumundadır. Avrupa Bir-liği ile Türkiye ilişkilerinde önemli diyalog alanlarından biri olan göç politika-sı, Türkiye’nin içinde bulunduğu göç ve sığınma alanlarında uyum hedefi yü-rüten bir politika olmasının yanı sıra, özellikle 2011 yılında başlayan Suriye iç savaşı sonrasında kritik bir gündem konusunu olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Suriye kaynaklı göç krizine ilişkin Avrupa Birliği-Türkiye ilişkilerinde izlenen politikaları ve bu krizin yönetimininde sınırlı sa-yıda olmalarına rağmen, hayat kurtarıcı rol oynayan sivil toplum kuruluşları-nın Türkiye’deki Suriyeli mülteciler için yaptıkları faaliyetleri araştırmaktır.
Today, Turkey is a country where both immigrants and migrants are used as a transit for those seeking to reach their European countries. The immigration policy, which is one of the important areas of dialogue in the relations between the European Union and Turkey, as well as a critical agenda topic in the areas of migration and asylum within which Turkey is located, especially after the 2011 Syrian Civil War. The objective of this study is to investigate the policies followed in the EU-Turkey relations regarding the Syrian migration crisis and, although they are limited in the management of this crisis, civil society organizations that play a life-saving role—the activities they do for Syrian refugees in Turkey.
Now, Turkey is in the status of both an immigration receiving and sending co-untry and a country used in transit by those wishing to reach the European co-untries. The migration policy which is one of the important dialogue areas in the relationships between the European Union and Turkey is in addition to be-ing a policy pursued to find an adaptation target in the fields of immigration and asylum as currently experienced by Turkey appears a critical agenda topic especially after the Syrian civil war started in 2011. The objective of this study is to investigate the policies followed in the European Union – Turkey relationships concerning the Syria-led immigration crisis and the activities conducted by the non-governmental organizations playing a life-saving role, despite the limited number thereof, concerning the Syrian refugees in Turkey in the management of this crisis.
