The state of Safevi, which forms an important place in Islamic art, is represented by spectacular works of art. The Safevi rulers protected the artists and played an important role in the development of their art activities. Especially the importance they give to the book art has led to the production of works on many topics. These works are produced in art centers, such as Tebriz, Herat, Shiraz, Isfahan. From these centers, Shiraz has become one of the important centers where the production of miniature and textual writing works is made, writing works on many subjects, such as history, science, literature, religion have been introduced. The Holy Book of the Islamic World, the Qur’an of Kerim, has also attributed importance to the Safevi period, and the rare, characteristic Qur’an of Kerim has been produced in terms of skin, line, and page texture. Some of these notes are present in some of our country’s literary works libraries. In the article, standing on the factors that influence the formation of the skin art of the Safevi period, the Suleymaniye Library will focus on the Safevi skin art in the example of the skin of some of the Qur'an-i Kerim nuts that are included in the collection of Sultan Ahmed I and show the characteristics of the Safevi period. Also, the skin thesis of the nuances in question will be dealt with and the motivation, composition and color characteristics will be assessed.

Safavid empire, which is an important place in Islamic art, is represented by artistic works of art. The Safeavid rulers played an important role in the protection and development of artistic activities. Especially the importance they give to book arts has led to the production of manuscripts in many subjects. These works were produced in art centers such as Tabriz, Herat, Shiraz, Isfahan. From these centers, Shiraz has been one of the important places where the production of miniature and illuminated manuscripts had been done on many subjects such as history, science, literature, religion. The Qur'an which is the sacred book of the Islamic world have also been important during the Safavid period, and rare, specific Qur'anic copies have been produced in terms of binding, calligraphy, and page illumination. Some of these Qur'an manuscripts are now located in some of the libraries in our country at Turkiye. The subject matter of the Qur'an manuscripts is located in the Süleymaniye Library, the Sultan Ahmed I collection. These copies displaying Safavid styles will be evaluated in terms of illumination. It is also argued over which schools are illuminated.
