Araştırmanın genel amacı seramik sanatında cam ve metal malzemelerin kullanılmasını incelemektir. Günümüzde değişen sanat anlayışı ile birlikte farklı malzemelerin sanat yapıtlarına dâhil olması, seramik sanatını da etkilemiştir. Klasik çanak çömlek anlayışının dışında çağdaş seramik sanatı içerisinde ortaya çıkan yapıtlar bugün yeni bir anlatım dili oluşturmaktadır. Bu anlamda ele alınan çalışma cam ve metal malzemelerin seramik sanatına olan katkılarını, seramik sanatçılarının farklı malzeme kullanma-kullanmama amaçlarını tespit etmeye yönelik görüşme yönteminin uygulandığı nitel bir alan araştırmasıdır. Araştırma amacına yönelik olarak yarı yapılandırılmış üç farklı görüşme formu geliştirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde ise betimsel ve içerik analiz yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Uygulama sonrası elde edilen veriler kodlanarak temalara ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucu olarak görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler, farklı malzeme kullanan sanatçıların seramiğe yeni bir bakış açısı kazandırmak, disiplinler arası yaklaşımda yapıtlar ortaya koymak, klasik anlayışın dışında eserler üretmek olduğunu göstermektedir.
The general purpose of the research is to study the use of glass and metal materials in ceramic arts. Today, with the changing art understanding, the inclusion of different materials in the art works has also influenced the ceramic art. The works that appear in contemporary ceramic art beyond the classical sense of cranberries today form a new language of narration. The work in this sense is a quality field research in which the contribution of glass and metal materials to the ceramic art is applied, the method of conversation for ceramic artists to identify the purposes of the use and use of different materials. Three different forms of interview have been developed for the purpose of the research. In the analysis of the data, visual and content analysis methods were used. The data obtained after the application has been encoded to themes. The results of the research show that the data obtained from the interviews show that the artists using different materials give a new perspective to ceramics, present works in interdisciplinary approach, and produce works outside the classical understanding.
The aim of the study is to examine the use of glass and metal materials in ceramic art. In these days, together with the changing understanding of art, the inclusion of different materials in the works of art also influenced the art of ceramics. Outside of classical pottery understanding, the works emerging in contemporary ceramic art form a new language of expression today In this sense, the study is a qualitative field research where interview method is applied to determine the contribution of glass and metal materials to ceramic art, and the purposes of ceramic artists in using or not using different materials. Three different semi-structured interview forms were developed for the aim of the study. In the analysis of the data, descriptive and content analysis methods were used. The data obtained after the application were transformed into a theme list and encoded. As a result of the study, the data obtained from interviews show that it is aimed to give a new perspective to ceramic by the artists using different materials, to reveal works in the interdisciplinary approach, produce works apart from the classical conception.
