ORTAOKUL ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN SERBEST YAZMA ÇALIŞMALARINDA KONU EĞİLİMLERİ

Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı ortaokul öğrencilerinin konu eğilimlerini farklı değişkenler açısından tespit etmektir. Amaç doğrultusunda öğrencilere bir ders saati serbest yazma etkinliği yaptırılmıştır. Öğrencilerin kullandığı serbest yazma çalışma kâğıtları ve öğrencilerin demografik bilgilerini belirttiği formlardan elde edilen veriler doküman analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiş, elde edilen veriler çapraz karşılaştırma tabloları ile yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni ortaokul öğrencileri olup örneklemi Afyonkarahisar, Balıkesir, Şanlıurfa Zonguldak, illerinin her birine ait şehir merkezi, ilçe ve köy okullarının farklı sınıf düzeylerinden rastgele seçilen toplam 4102 öğrencidir. Elde edilen veriler neticesinde öncelikle ortaokul öğrencilerinin hangi konulara eğilim gösterdikleri tespit edilmiştir. Veriler yorumlandığında öğrencilerin konu eğilimlerinin öğrencinin yaşadığı yere, sınıf düzeyine, cinsiyetine, bir odaya sahip olma durumuna, internet kullanım durumuna, kitap okuma durumuna göre farklılaştığı görülmüştür.

Subject Tendencies In Free Writing Studies Of Secondary School

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine subject tendency of secondary school students in terms of different variables. In line with this aim, a free writing activity was organized for students. The data obtained from the students' free writing study papers and the forms in which the students stated their demographic information were examined by document analysis method and the obtained data were interpreted with cross comparison tables. The population of the study is middle school students and the sample is 4102 students randomly selected from different class levels of city center, district and village schools of each province of Afyonkarahisar, Balıkesir, Şanlıurfa Zonguldak. As a result of the data obtained, it has been determined what kind of subjects the secondary school students tend to prefer. When the data were interpreted, it was seen that subject trends of the students differ according to the place where the students live, class level, gender, having a room, internet usage situation and reading status.
