Postmodern roman, Batı edebiyatlarına nazaran Türk Dünyası edebiyatlarında daha geç görülmeye başlar. Türk Dünyasında ilk örneklerini Türkiye sahasında gördüğümüz postmodern anlayışla yazılmaya başlanan romanların yakın dönemde Azerbaycan Edebiyatında da örnekleri verilmeye başlanır. Kemal Abdulla’nın 2004 yılında yayımlanan “Yarımçık Elyazma” adlı eseri Azerbaycan postmodern romanı için başlangıç kabul edilirse de sonraki tarihlerde Hamid Herisçi, İlgar Fehmi, Ali Ekber, Perviz Cebrayıl, Akşin Yenisey ve Nermin Kamal’ın benzer çizgide kaleme aldıkları romanlar ile bu sahadaki gelişme sürdürülür. Azerbaycan romanının önemli isimlerinden Vagif Sultanlı’nın Azerbaycan Türkçesi ile 2017 yılında yayımlanan “Sahra Savaşı” romanı ise yeni oluşmaya başlayan Azerbaycan postmodern romanında felsefi-metaforik yoğunluğuyla farklı ve yeni bir çizgiyi temsil etmeye aday bir eser olarak yerini almıştır. “Sahra Savaşı” romanı Azerbaycan Türkçesi ile yayımlanmış olup henüz diğer Türk lehçelerinden hiç birine aktarması yapılmamıştır. Bu çalışmada, ele alınan eserin felsefi-postmodern roman türünün genel hususiyetleri bağlamında değerlendirilmesi yapılarak Azerbaycan postmodern roman geleneği dahilinde özgün yönleri ortaya konulmuştur.
Postmodern novel begins to be seen later in the Turkish World literature. The first examples in the Turkish world began to be written with the postmodern understanding we saw in the Turkish field in the recent period in Azerbaijan Literature also began to be given examples. Kemal Abdulla's work "The Half-Elyzma" published in 2004 is considered the beginning of the postmodern Azerbaidjan novel, but in the subsequent dates Hamid Herisçi, Ilgar Fehmi, Ali Ekber, Perviz Cebrayıl, Akşin Yenisey and Nermin Kamal's similar lines with the novel, the development in this field continues. From the important names of the Azerbaidjan novel, Vagif Sultanlı's "Sahra War" novel, published in 2017 with the Azerbaidjan Turkish, was replaced as a candidate work to represent a different and new line with a philosophical-metaphoric intensity in the postmodern Azerbaidjan novel that began to form. The novel "Sahra War" has been published in Azerbaijani Turkish and has not yet been translated to any other Turkish language. In this study, the assessment of the work discussed in the context of the general specificities of the philosophical-postmodern novel genre has revealed the original aspects within the Azerbaijani postmodern novel tradition.
Postmodern novel is seen later in Turkish Literature than Western Literature. Turkish world in the field of the first examples of Turkey and Azerbaijan in the near term we see the start of the postmodern approach writing novels in literature starts to give examples. Although Kemal Abdulla's book Yarımçıq əlyazma ma published in 2004 is accepted as the beginning for the Azerbaijani postmodern novel, Hamid Herisçi, İlgar Fehmi, Ali Ekber, Perviz Cebrayıl, Aksin Yenisey and Nermin Kamal wrote similar novels. Postmodern novel in this field continues to develop. One of the important names of the recent Azerbaijani novel, Vagif Sultanlı's Azerbaijani Turkish and the Sahara War novel, published in 2017, took its place as a candidate to represent a different and new line with its philosophical-metaphoric intensity in the newly emerging Azerbaijani postmodern novel. His novel Sahara War was published in Azerbaijani Turkish and its translation to other Turkish dialects has not yet been published. In this study, it is evaluated in the context of the general characteristics of the philosophical-postmodern novel genre and the original aspects of the work within the postmodern novel tradition of Azerbaijan have been revealed.
