Bu çalışmada, iş yükü, psikolojik güçlendirme ve tükenmişlik arasındaki ilişkilerinin PTT kurumunda incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 192 posta çalışanı oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma bulgularına göre, iş yükü ile duygusal tükenme ve duyarsızlaşma boyutları arasında pozitif zayıf korelasyon vardır. Regresyon analizi sonuçları iş yükünün duygusal tükenmedeki varyansın %8,3’ünü, duyarsızlaşmadaki varyansın %3,6’sını açıklamaktadır. Psikolojik güçlendirme boyutları ile duygusal tükenme ve duyarsızlaşma boyutları arasında negatif, kişisel başarı hissi boyutu arasında ise pozitif korelasyon olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Psikolojik güçlendirme boyutları duygusal tükenmedeki varyansın %18,9’unu, duyarsızlaşmadaki varyansın %10,7’sini ve kişisel başarı hissindeki varyansın %16,8’ini açıklamaktadır. Psikolojik güçlendirmenin tükenmişliğin açıklanmasında iş yükünden daha önemli bir role sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca gelecek çalışmalara ilişkin önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
In this study, it is aimed to examine the relations between workload, psychological empowerment and burnout in PTT institution. The sample of the study consists of 192 postal employees. According to the study findings, there is a positive weak correlation between the workload and emotional exhaustion and depersonalization dimensions. The results of the regression analysis explain 8,3% of the workload's variance in emotional exhaustion and 3,6% of the variance in the depersonalization. It was concluded that there was a negative correlation between the dimensions of psychological empowerment and emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, and a positive correlation between the dimension of personal accomplishment. Psychological empowerment dimensions account for 18.9% of the variance in emotional exhaustion, 10.7% of the variance in the depersonalization and 16.8% of the variance in the sense of personal accomplishment. It was concluded that psychological empowerment has a more important role in explaining burnout than workload. In addition, suggestions for future studies were made.
