Kur’ân’ı Kerim’in servet konusundaki yaklaşımını incelediğimizde onun, serveti reddetmediğini, hoş karşıladığını, onu hayat için gerekli bulduğunu açıkça görürüz. Servet, Kur’ân açısından uzak durulması gereken bir şey değildir. Burada kaçınılması gereken, yine Kur’ân’da ifadesini bulan israf, servetin amaç edinilmesi gibi davranışlardır. Kur’ân’ı Kerîm, fakir ve yoksul kesimi, haklarından habersiz bir şekilde yaşamaya ve onları dünya nimetlerini istemelerinden vazgeçirmeye çalışan her türlü oluşumları ortadan kaldıran güçlü bir çağrı olarak gelmiştir. Ancak bu çağrı, fakirle zengin arasında düşmanlık ve kin yerine sevgi ve dostluk köprüleri kuran bir çağrıdır. O (Kur’ân), servetin yalnız zenginler arasında dönüp dolaşan bir güç, hatta bir sömürü ve egemenlik aracı olmasını, böylece büyük kalabalığın harcayacak bir şey bulamamasını onaylamaz: “Böylece o mallar, içinizden yalnız zenginler arasında dolaşan bir devlet olmaz...” (59. Haşr: 7) âyeti bu tezi doğrulamaktadır. Bunun için Kur’ân, zengin fakir arasındaki büyük eşitsizliği makul seviyeye indirmek ve herkesin insanca yaşama standardına sahip olması için alınması gereken tedbirleri ortaya koymuştur. Onun istediği şey, yeryüzünde her konuda olduğu gibi sosyo-ekonomik konuda da adâletin hâkim olduğu ve dengelerin oluştuğu güçlü bir toplumsal yapının varlığıdır.
When we study on the approach of the Holy Quran to the wealth subject, we can leady see that it does not reject the wealth but it approves it and says that it is necessary for surviving According to the Quran, the wealth is not an issue which must be kept away from again according to the Quran, extravagance and making wealth the purpose of the life are the behaviours which must be avoided. The Holy Quran has come as a strong message that removes all of the formations which makes the poor living without being aware of their rights and give up the staff of life however, this is a message which established love and friendship bridges between the poor and rich people but not hostility and grudge bridges. It (The Quran) never certifies that the wealth will circle only between the rich people as an exploitation and dominance tool thus many people will not find anything to spend. The verse which says that “...in order that in may become a fortune used by the rich among you…’’ (59. el-Hashr: 7)certifies this theory. Therefore the Quran has exposed the provisions required for decreasing the inequality between the wealths of the poor and rich to an optimal ratio and making everybody to have the standards for living humanely. It wants the existence of the strong public structure in which the equity is dominant in terms of the socio-economic issue as well as the all other issues and in which the balance is established between the wealths of the people.
