KARAR VERME STİLLERİ VE AKADEMİK ERTELEME İLİŞKİSİ: PEDAGOJİK FORMASYON ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARI ÜZERİNE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Abstract:

Bu araştırmada akademik erteleme ve karar verme stilleri arasındaki ilişki pedagojik formasyon öğretmen adayları merkezli araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2017-2018 güz döneminde Balıkesir Üniversitesi Necatibey Eğitim Fakültesinde pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alan 8 gruptaki 355 pedagojik formasyon programı öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Bu gruplara Akademik Erteleme ve Karar Verme Stilleri Ölçekleri uygulanmış, tam doldurulan 229 ölçek üzerinden istatistiksel analizler yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alan öğretmen adaylarının en çok kullandıkları karar verme stili rasyonel karar verme, en az kullandıkları karar verme stili ise kaçıngan karar verme stili olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Öğretmen adaylarının akademik erteleme davranışları ise yüksek bulunmuştur. Araştırmada pedagojik formasyon eğitimi alan öğretmen adaylarının akademik erteleme davranışları, erkekler lehine farklılaşmaktadır. Araştırmada karar verme stilleri arasında ise cinsiyete göre anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

In this research, the relationship between academic procrastination and decision-making styles was researched based on pedagogical formation teacher candidates. The study group consisted of 355 pedagogical formation program students in 8 groups who received pedagogical formation training at Balıkesir University Necatibey Education Faculty in the fall semester of 2017-2018. The Academic Procrastination and Decision Making Styles Scales were applied to the groups and statistical analyzes were done on 229 scales. As a result of the research, it was found out that the most prevalent decision-making style of the teacher candidates trained in pedagogical formation education was rational decision making, and the least used decision style was inevitable decision making style. Teacher candidates have high academic procrastination behaviors. The academic procrastination behaviors of teacher candidates trained in pedagogical formation in the research are different for males. In the research it has been determined that there is no meaningful difference between decision making styles and gender
