Günümüzde artan yapılaşma rekreasyon taleplerini arttırmaktadır. Artan yapılaşma sonucunda azalan yeşil alanlar insanları farklı rekreasyon taleplerine yöneltmiştir. Buna paralel olarak insanların isteklerinin değişmesi ve artması gibi unsurlar turizm ve rekreasyon isteklerine farklı bir boyut kazandırmıştır. Rekreasyon alanları insanlara ekolojik, ekonomik ve estetik açıdan birçok yarar sağlamaktadır. Yapılan bu çalışmanın amacı, başta Sera Gölü olmak üzere doğal alanların turizm potansiyelini kullanıcı istekleri doğrultusunda belirlemektir. Çünkü doğal alanlar rekreasyon kavramının ayrılmaz bir parçasıdır. Bu kapsamda turizm hareketinin başarılı olabilmesi koruma/kullanım dengesinin oluşturulabilmesi ile doğrudan ilişkilidir. Yapılan bu çalışma kapsamında Trabzon Sera Gölü incelenmiştir. Sera Gölü Trabzon ili Akçaabat ilçesine bağlı Yıldızlı mevkiinde bulunmaktadır. Göl 1950’de meydana gelen bir heyelan sonucunda oluşmuştur. Sahip olduğu doğal bitki örtüsü ve manzara özelliği oldukça farklıdır. Bu bağlamda, yapılan bu çalışmanın öncelikle Sera Gölü turizm potansiyelini belirleyip yapılacak olan çalışmalara envanter olabileceği öngörülmektedir. Çalışma sonucunda gölün turizm potansiyeli yapılan anketler doğrultusunda saptanmış ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
Today, increasing construction increases recreation demands. Reduced green areas cause to different recreational demands. At the same time, change and increase of people's desires have given a different dimension to recreational demands. Recreational areas provide many benefits to people in terms of ecological, economic and aesthetic quality. The purpose of this study is to determine the tourism potential of natural areas, especially Lake Sera. Because natural areas are an integral part of the concept of recreation. In this context, the success of the tourism movement is directly related to the establishment of protection / use balance. Within the scope of this study, Trabzon Sera Lake is examined. Sera Lake is located in the Trabzon in the province of Akçaabat. The lake formed in 1950 as a result of a landslide. The natural vegetation and landscapes it possesses are quite different. In this context, it is envisaged that the Sera Lake may be the inventory of the works to be determined by determining the tourism potential. In the result of this study, the lake has been identified in the direction of the tourism potentials and suggestions have been made.
