Postmodernizm modern sonrasını işaret eder ve modernizmin sorgulanması üzerinde temellenir. Postmodernizmin tanımı ve kapsamı tartışmalıdır. Edebiyat alanındaki postmodernizmin değiştirici, dönüştürücü bir yanı vardır. Bu çalışmada Murat Gülsoy’un “Kukla” adlı öyküsü ile Julio Cortázar’ın Türkçeye “Bütün Parklar Uç Uca” adıyla çevrilen öyküsü Postmodern anlatının örnekleri açısından karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiştir. Gülsoy’un öyküsünün konusu yazma sürecidir. Bu bağlamda üstkurmaca kullanılmıştır. Cortázar’ın öyküsünün konusu ise okuma sürecidir. İnceleme sonucunda her iki öykünün de postmodern edebiyatın özelliklerini taşıdığını söylemek mümkündür. Adı geçen öykülerde yazar-okur-metin ilişkisinde yazarın-okurun rolü sorgulanmış, döngüsel bir kurgu yapısı ortaya konulmuş, kurmaca düzlemi bir oyuna dönüştürülmüş ve okurun bu oyuna etkin bir biçimde katılması sağlanmıştır.
Postmodernism refers the period after modernism and criticize the underpinnings of modernism. The defination and the extent of postmodernism is highly contentious. Postmodernism in literature has an alterative and transforming side. In this paper the texts of Murat Gülsoy (“Kukla”) and Julio Cortázar (in Turkish “Bütün Parklar Uç Uca”) studied comperatively as the examples of postmodern narration. The subject of Gülsoy’s short story is writing. In that context metafiction is used. The subject of the Cortázar’s short story is the reading. As a result of that paper it can be said that the two shories have the properties of postmodernist literature. In these stories the role of writer-reader in writer-reader-text relation questioned, circular narrative style presented, fiction is organized as a game, and the effective participation of reader in that game provided.
